SAGA OF CITM

The Career Institute of Technology and Management (Faridabad), promoted by Manav Rachna Education Society (Regd.) is a privately managed and self financed Institute. The Institute was established in the year 1997 and has been conducting 4 year BE courses at the permanent site since 1999-2000 session. The institute has a vast campus in the sprawling Aravalli Hills, covering about 21 acres of land amidst serene, healthy, natural and pollution free surroundings on the historical Surajkund - Badkhal road. The institute campus has been designed and constructed close to nature with splendid environs, aesthetics and eco-friendly atmosphere. YMCA :
The YMCA Institute Of Engineering ,Faridabad was established in the year 1969,as a joint venture of the National Council Of YMCAs of India , Govt Of Haryana and the Central Agencies for Development Aid ,Bonn, Germany .It started as an Indo-German project with an aim to impart technical education to a developing India on German pattern .

The labs & workshops have been setup with the assistance of German expertise. In 1996,State Govt. of Haryana took complete control of the Institute .The Institute offers 4-year B.Tech degree course in five disciplines i.e Information Technology, Computers, Electronics, Mechanical & Electrical. The institute has added two new chapters in it’s glorious history i.e M.C.A & M.Tech (Computer Engineering) .

It is affiliated to M.D.University,Rohtak And it follows it’s course curriculum duly approved by the industries and the university .The salient features of German education have been retained & as such the institute stands apart from other colleges of Haryana.

Right from the very beginning the institute has emphasized greatly on practical work related to industry. As a result our students are well accepted by the industries .The fact that many of them are entrepreneurs with names of the repute at national and international level establishes the same.

The institute is situated on national highway-2,Mathura Road,30 km from nation’s capital .The institute campus is located in the sprawling Faridabad-Ballabgarh Industrial complex.

The students are admitted to institute strictly on the basis of their merit in the Common Engineering Entrance Test (CEET),conducted under the administrative control of Deptt. Of Technical Education Of Haryana. Infact, the institute is the most sought after among the top rankers.

In recognition with the quality of education imparted by the institute over the last 30 year ,The Government of Haryana has signed an M.O.U with Microsoft to establish Advanced Academic Training Center at YMCAIE,Faridabad.
